As we head into November, FooteWork would like to take a moment to remind you of that ever present topic, the elections. Before heading to the poles, you should take some time to do your due diligence to make an informed choice.
By now, you should have received a sample ballot to review. Remember, there is so much more on the ballot than just the vote for president. There may be other measures, like propositions, senate and house of representative seats, as well as judge selections.
There will also be information for you to review on your sample ballot, such as:
- The date and time of the election
- The location of your polling place
- A form to request a vote-by-mail ballot
In addition to the sample ballot, you should also receive literature about the measure and candidates that will be on the ballot. Take some time to read about these items before going into vote. Remember, voting is an important right you should exercise.
Take some time on Election Day to make sure your voice is heard!
