August 09, 2016, Prescott, AZ. – FooteWork Auto License and Title Service ( www.FooteWork.com ) was named Yavapai County’s Employer of the Year by The Northern Arizona Council of Governments ( www.NACOG.org ). Footework, established in 1998 is an ADOT authorized third party motor vehicle services provider. With offices in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Cottonwood, and Williams, Arizona, FooteWork employs 33 professionals who provide motor vehicle services including Drivers Licenses, Arizona IDs, Child IDs, vehicle title and registration work, license plates, temporary permits and many other motor vehicle services.

“I am humbled and surprised by receiving NACOG’s Employer of the Year Award for Yavapai County. Of course, it goes without saying that FooteWork is and has always been a team effort. I’d like to thank all the people at NACOG, and especially Duane Miller, for all the incredible assistance and the services that NACOG provides to support the growth of my business.
I’d like to especially mention our amazing FooteWork teams along with all of our fantastic customers, without them FooteWork would have never enjoyed the success we have now. Back in 1998 when FooteWork was created out of my home, I would take three titles at a time and stand in line at the MVD for my customers. At the time, I couldn’t have imagined what it has grown into today and I can’t help but feel very blessed and extremely grateful.
Also, the steadfast support of people such as Representatives Karen Fann and Noel Campbell, among other elected officials, has been terrific. Their support of Arizona’s Authorized Third Party Motor Vehicle Program has allowed private companies such as FooteWork to be successful in relieving the strain on the state motor vehicle field offices. “NACOG has been pleased to partner with FooteWork over the last year to assist them with their business expansion plans. We began staffing their Prescott location on August 21, 2015 with expansion into the Verde Valley as well. FooteWork has hired and trained 15 Workforce Investment clients year-to-date. Individuals received quality, certificate-based training for positions in licensing and titling. Employees who showed initiative were promoted with pay increases and received additional credentials and training. FooteWork accomplished 99% completion of contracts with NACOG and have maintained a 98% employee retention rate. The combined investment from FooteWork and NACOG-WIOA was just under $90,000,” stated Teri Drew, Regional Director, NACOG.
Employer of the Year Award Criteria
Annually, the Yavapai County Workforce Development Board (WDB), together with the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, sponsors an Awards Ceremony. Nominations are presented by One Stop Program staff and selected by the WDB Executive Committee. The Executive Committee selects Annual Award winners based on:
- Quality of the training provided
- Rate of pay
- Retention of employees
